FAQ
What products are used in a brow lifting?
At The Nu Me MD, we use only FDA-approved products such as Botox. Filler brands may be Juvederm or Restylane, depending on your individual needs.
What will be done for this procedure?
If Botox is appropriate, it will be injected first. After the full effects are observed, we will evaluate whether we need to add filler for more lift, contouring, and/or volumizing.
Will there be side effects?
The most common side effect of any injection is bruising. This can be minimized by avoiding nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medication, such as ibuprofen or
naproxen, aspirin, and blood thinners.
IF YOU ARE ON A BLOOD THINNER, PLEASE DO NOT STOP TAKING IT UNTIL YOU DISCUSS IT WITH YOUR PRESCRIBING PHYSICIAN, OR A PHYSICIAN AT THE NU ME MD.
These procedures can be performed even if you are on a blood thinner, but bleeding/bruising risks are increased. Redness and soreness may also be present. These generally resolve within a day or two.
